Being Active and Effective Trustees

Mar 7th20199:45am - 3:00pm

This session will cover the roles and responsibilities of trustees (by Alex Peel) including understanding your annual accounts (by WYCAS).

This session will help charity trustees to fully understand what they need to know and what they need to do including preparing annual accounts. Charity trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing a charity and directing how it is managed and run. They may be called: trustees, the board, the management committee, governors, directors or something else but they all have specific duties and responsibilities.

Please note that your WYCAS tutor will talk through the theory and show you examples but also invites you to bring along your organisation’s last accounts, to apply your new found knowledge.
