Kings Church, Halifax was a great venue for a friendly gathering of community groups, funders and support services.
We enjoyed hearing from a range of funders and those who can support the organisations. Including Claire from WYCAS talking about how your organisation’s seed can grow, nourish and yield fruit in a nurturing environment where financial systems are in place.
The Abacus project was also presented, where charities can apply to host a finance placement for 5 hours per week, over 4 months. In return they receive specialised support from their individual placement.
