TLG is seeking a passionate, motivated and mission-driven Finance Manager to join its team as the organisation works towards its vision of bringing fullness of life to every child, regardless of the challenges they face.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will take a central role in maintaining and strengthening the charity’s financial position while supporting its future growth.
You’ll lead the operational delivery of day-to-day finance, ensuring effective financial controls, accurate reporting and clear financial information that enables leaders across TLG to make informed decisions.
The role offers a balance of hands-on finance and strategic responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across both areas.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is a Christian children’s wellbeing charity built on the belief that the local church has a central role in God’s mission of restoration and hope for children and families.
Through its Early Intervention and Make Lunch programmes, more than 220 churches currently partner with TLG.
Together, these programmes support 4,699 children each year, with 1,059 children and family members also connecting with the wider support of the church as a place of belonging, care and hope.
You’ll be a fully or nearly Qualified Accountant who is looking to develop your career within an organisation that is committed to helping its people flourish.
You’ll bring strong charity finance experience, excellent technical skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to colleagues across the organisation, including department heads.
The successful candidate will be comfortable combining strategic oversight with hands-on responsibility for areas such as management accounts, budgeting and reporting.
You’ll also have an active Christian faith and be willing to participate fully in the spiritual life of the organisation, while working sensitively and respectfully with people from all backgrounds.
The Finance Manager role is based at TLG’s National Support Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with hybrid working available.
The position is approximately 40% office-based, including Tuesdays.
TLG offers flexibility of between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, equivalent to 0.8 – 1.0 FTE.
